The residents of the Town of Henderson will team up to raise money for a new
playground for our local area. The playground is in need of outside funding and
we need your help! The first stage of the new playground (Toddler section) is
scheduled to begin September 6th, 2008. We are presently raising funds to add a
2nd stage for the school age children.
We are planning a series of events to raising enough money to make this
playground a dream come true for our community. During the months of July &
August, we raised $1650 from generous donations. We will take this opportunity
to make the community aware of our goals and our upcoming events. All funds
raised from the 2008 Playground Fund will benefit the community.
